The Great Ronin Warriors

Background Information

Ronin Warriors (also known as Yoroiden Samurai Troopers-literal for Legendary Armor Samurai Troopers) is about five young boys who were destined with the responsibility of the legendary mystical armors and the fight against the Youja Teiou Arago (Demon Emperor Arago) and his four Mashou (Dark Warlords).

It was produced by Sunrise and its official canon is the anime.

Some people have referred to it as a rip-off of Saint Seiya, although, it isn't a rip-off at all, as the series has it's own unique elements too.
 

Standing in the Battledome

The universe has been noted to have three dimensions: The Ningenkai (human world), the Netherworld and the Youjakai. Only the Youjakai has not been shown in the series and is only mentioned by its ruler, Badamon. The majority of the story takes place in modern Japan.

Ronin Warriors is exceptionally powerful. The overall power is at least city busting/island tanking levels, but the most powerful characters are in the range of at least planetary destruction, with the top tiers ranging from star level+ up to universal.

The series have quite a few specialty abilities like poison that can melt rock, high-level illusions, control over darkness and light, vortex, and soul possession to name a few.

The top tiers of the verse (like Ryo in his Shiroi Kikoutei armor) can easily rival most of the Dragon Ball Super characters overall.

The issue remaining is their speed and without counting the top tiers, they are a bit lower than end of Part 2 DB.
