Notable Attacks/Techniques:
- Dark Side Tendrils: A technique that conjures pure Force energy in the form of tendrils. These tendrils rose in the form of black mist from the ground and took the form of serpentine tentacles which swarmed their victim and attacked with the power of the pure dark side. The technique requires a fair level of concentration from the user, making it somewhat difficult to manifest without the required skill.
- Force Barrier: Both an offensive and defensive Force power that creates a barrier or wall of Force energy around the intended target, be it self, friend, or foe. Depending on the strength of the individual, the barrier could only withstand a few attacks before collapsing.
- Force Blast: Exar Kun projects concentrated blasts of pure dark side energy at objects or opponents. Exar Kun has demonstrated this power on several occasions, most notably when slaying Naga Sadow's Sith Wyrm and against Aleema Keto.
- Force Drain: Exar Kun drains the life from his opponents and adds it to his own. Kun demonstrated this power when he drained the entire Massassi population of their power on Yavin IV as a precursor to his Essence Transfer ritual.
- Force Lightning: An offensive Force technique that uses Force energy to produce electricity with one or two hands that stream outwards from the fingertips, its speed is usually great enough to catch an opponent off-guard even when prepared, and can be used either in bursts, or simply torrent out in an a gush of agony on its victim.
- Force Scream: Exar Kun unleashes a force enhanced scream. His scream was powerful enough to be heard and felt by Jedi across the galaxy.
- Force Stealth: A power that was used by highly skilled Force-sensitives to mask their Force alignment (Light or Dark), their ability to use the Force, or even their entire presence from other Force-sensitives.
- Force Stun: Exar Kun locks an enemy in catatonic paralysis.
- Telekinesis: Exar Kun can use this through the Force to put his mind literally over matter, capable of blasting opponents, shielding himself or disarming people, its limits are only those of the creativity that Force User has.
- Telepathy: Can easily manipulate others mentally with the Force to trick, deceive, maim or even kill outright. Can also use this power externally or internally when it comes to illusion creation, manifestation, and manipulation. Exar Kun has repeatedly shown the ability to invade the minds of others, including powerful Jedi Masters in their own dreams, as well as stripping away their minds and souls from their bodies with this power.
- Transfer Essence: A radical dark side Force power used to transfer a person's consciousness into another body, or in some cases an inanimate object. Exar Kun performed his variation through ritual, likely to bolster his chances of surviving against the combined Jedi assault.
- Tutaminis: Through the Force, Exar Kun can draw potentially harmful energy into his body and diffuse it or channel it away completely.
