Notable Attacks/Techniques:
- The Fear: This is the name of Äs Nödt's Schrift. A black fluid is secreted through the tip of his white thorns that induce an irrational sort of fear in the minds of his victims causing them to lose rational thought and see visions of their darkest fears.
- Reishi Manipulation: As a Quincy he primarily absorbs spiritual energy from the atmosphere, and combines it with his own spiritual energy to form weapons. He has an easier time collecting this energy in environments with higher concentrations of Reishi such as in Soul Society or Hueco Mundo.
- Hirenkyaku Expert: High-speed movement technique.
- Blut (Blood): A Quincy ability that gives one inhuman defensive & offensive capability. By making reishi flow into their blood vessels they increase their attack and defense power drastically. Blut is significantly dangerous but it has one big flaw, the two forms of Blut for attack and defense work using two different reishi systems, so they cannot be used at the same time.
- Blut Vene (Blood Vein): Pumps reishi into the blood within the veins to strengthen his defensive capabilities at the expense of his offense.
- Blut Arterie (Blood Artery): Inverse of Blut Vene in that reishi is pumped into the artery to raise offense while lowering defense.
- Spirit Weapon: Äs Nödt uses reishi to create white thorns that either pierce through his foes or act as vectors to spread his fear toxin.
- Vollstandig: Tartar Foras (Fear of God): Äs activates his Vollständig by rolling back his left eye, revealing a Wandenreich emblem on the inside of his eyeball. In this form, he gains a star-like Quincy Zeichen halo encircled by barbed wire, a stream of blood pouring from each eye, and a cloak with a line of stitches running down the middle. His wings are barely visible and resemble circles of barbed wire attached to his back. The cloak is very tight-fitting, revealing Äs' gaunt torso. His eyes are completely rolled up, and his forearms are covered in a black substance.
- The Fear: In his powered up state, Äs Nödt is able to transmit his Schrift through sight via their optic nerves. This form also gives him access to numerous eyes that surround an object and induce fear through the same method as his own
