Weaknesses: Ryu is often trying to keep himself calm or he could fall into darkness and enter the Satsui no Hado, although the Satsui no Hado transforms Ryu into Evil Ryu making him much stronger, Evil Ryu cannot tell friend from foe and often aims to destroy everything in sight

Notable Attacks/Techniques:
- Hadoken/Hadouken: An energy based projectile attack that can inflict quite a lot of damage.
- Denjin Hadoken: A much stronger Hadoken.
- Shinku Hadoken: A larger Hadoken which can hit also many more times and is generally much stronger as well.
- Shoryuken: A strong jumping uppercut.
- Shin Shoryuken: This move starts by hitting the enemy in the mid section of the upper body then it follows a strong uppercut to the chin and in end the move finishes with a very strong Shoryuken.
- Tatsumaki Senpukyaku: A powerful spinning kick combo attack while he jumps and is in the air.
- Satsui no Hado: The Satsui no Hado is a form of ki that is rooted in the darker aspects of the natural human instinct (including the desire to survive, trample, and impose over opposition), and on a metaphysical level, the natural occurrence and manifestation of loss, decline, and destruction. To tap into the Satsui no Hado, a person must be so consumed with the desire for winning, or else possess such intense rage, that they are willing to murder. As such, only people who push themselves to be the best at any cost can take full advantage of it, however, the untrained mind can be driven into insanity if they are not ready for it. Learning the Satsui no Hado is the first step in learning the most fatal technique known to all of their martial arts - the Shun Goku Satsu, known also as the Raging Demon.
- Metsu Hadoken: An energy based projectile attack that can inflict quite a lot of damage. Evil Ryu can charge this attack making it more powerful.
- Metsu Shoryuken: An extremely powerful jumping uppercut.
- Messatsu Goshoryu: Evil Ryu performs several uppercuts that launches himself and his opponent into the air, Evil Ryu then channels dark energy into his fist and delivers a powerful blow to his opponent's face slamming them into the ground.
- Shun Goku Satsu: Evil Ryu's most powerful attack. This technique is able to destroy the enemy's soul. In order for the opponent to avoid or survive this attack, he must 'empty' his soul the right time or use another similar technique before the destructive effects of this attack start.
