Intelligence: Above average. Trunks inherited some of his mother's genius with technology. He's also a fairly skilled martial artist and about the only character in Dragon Ball who doesn't fuck around and does finish his opponent in combat.
Notable Attacks/Techniques:
- Super Saiya-jin (Saiyan) Forms: An advanced transformation assumed by extraordinarily powerful members of the Saiya-jin race which increases his Base Battle-Power by 50 times, and this is proportioned to his physical attributes giving him a great and even increase in strength, ki power, speed, stamina, and durability. However, without mastery of this form, much of this energy is wasted transforming and maintaining the transformation. The Super Saiya-jin form also has three additional branch states (which sacrifice speed for raw power) and is succeeded by two further transformations, Super Saiya-jin 2 (twice as strong as a regular Super Saiya-jin) and 3 (four times as strong as a Super Saiya-jin 2). Trunks can use all of these transformations up to Super Saiya-jin 2.
- Burning Attack: Trunks performs a series of rapid arm movements before placing his palms forward, with the thumbs and index fingers touching each other to form a small diamond shape. He then fires a powerful blast of energy from his palms towards the opponent.
- Buster Cannon: Trunks can fire a blue beam of energy fired from both hands and was used in an attempt to destroy Android #17 and Android #18 but failed.
- Finisher Buster: Trunks charges up a giant ball of energy in his hands and from that ball of energy fires an enormous beam at the opponent.
- Home Dome Attack: Surrounds himself in a large dome of energy and fires an enormous blast of energy from it, and is capable of completely obliterating most opponents and finishing them off in the air.
- Shining Sword Attack: A attack where he uses Burning Attack slowly enough for the opponent to dodge by taking to the air, where he surprises and slices the opponent to bits before finishing them off with a flash of yellow energy shot from one hand. This attack was used to kill Freeza.
- Final Flash: A move inherited from his father, Vegeta. The user fires a concentrated beam of Ki that is capable of destroying planets and explodes on impact with its target. SSJ2 Trunks used this move against Future Zamasu.
- Gyarikku Ho (Galick Gun): Another move inherited from his father, Vegeta. It's an attack with a charge time which allows Trunks to focus his ki into his hands and generate to its highest peak and unleash it as a powerful energy blast. SSJ Rage Trunks used this move against SSJ Rose Black and Supreme God Zamasu.
