His Paopei dashinben (which appears as a wooden stick that can control the air and create barriers, blades, tornadoes, and various other types of attacks), his Paopei Karyuuhou (which can create fire-based attacks, he gave this up later since it didn't really suit him), his Paopei Kyou kouki, which allows him to absorb extra energy from Kongrong mountain to increase his power, his final Paopei Taikyokuzu (which can shut down other Paopei, absorb energy from allies, and allow his and his allies' attacks to harm other beings souls)
Intelligence: Master of strategy, his command allowed an army to easily defeat an enemy army that outnumbered them by multiple times, masterminded a plan to defeat Jyoka, an immortal alien who had been controlling earth's history for millions of years, outsmarts most of his opponents, many years of battle experience, not above fighting dirty
Notable Attacks/Techniques:
- Dashinben: The Paopei Dashinben allows for various wind-related abilities, such as: Creating windshields, firing large wind blades, firing swarms of miniature wind blades, creating horizontal vortexes to rip enemies to pieces, creating large tornadoes that can cover small cities and mountains, and even blasting massive amounts of air from the upper atmosphere downward fast enough to freeze enemies that cover several small islands.

- Taikyokuzu: This Paopei can be used to seal other Paopei, rendering them ineffectual. It can also set up a technique that allows Taikoubou and his allies' attacks to damage souls. Finally, it can absorb the energy from Taikoubou's allies and the souls in the Houshindai to boost his power.
- Chuu Sen Jin: Only usable by Taikoubou when he becomes Fukki, this technique traps the opponent in a dimension where a mystical type of spiritual snow flows through them, causing their soul to dissolve to nothingness. Jyoka was able to avoid this only with the use of an illusion while her actual body didn't fall for it.
- Bansenjin: It's a sealing Paopei which, when it is completed, covers a massive amount of area and it changes the 'state' in which living people can now affect souls and ghosts. It was used for the other super Paopeis to unleash their attacks on Jyoka on her final form because psychical attacks didn't have any effect on her. (He used this when he became Fukki).
- Fukki: Taikoubou's true form. After fusing with Outenkun, Taikoubou becomes Fukki, one of the first humans. Taikoubou is much stronger in the form and gains access to new abilities like flight, dimension manipulation, and soul manipulation.
