You asked just what the hell I could cut with this oddly shaped blade, right? |
Name: Wabisuke, the Penitent One
Origin: Bleach
Origin: Bleach
Type: Zanpakuto
Powers and Abilities: Any time Wabisuke strikes something, its target's weight is doubled. This effect is cumulative, a two pound object would become four pounds, then eight, then sixteen and so on.
Destructive Capacity: Building level
Wielder(s): Izuru Kira
Material or Element: Reiatsu / Steel / Misery
Needed Prerequisite for Use: As with all Zanpakuto, proper rapport with the weapon's spirit is required.
Notable Attacks/Techniques or Alternate Forms: The above weapon is Wabisuke in its released Shikai form. When unreleased, Wabisuke possesses no remarkable feats and resembles a plain katana.
Other: Wabisuke is interesting in design, in that the cutting edge of the blade is on the inside angles of the hook. This makes Wabisuke specifically suited for beheadings when the target is immobilized by its exponentially increased weight. The applications of achieving Bankai with this weapon are unknown. In the anime-only Invading Army arc, the primary antagonist creates a clone of Kira, but increases the power of his Zanpakuto, so that it multiplies the weight of objects it strikes by a factor of ten.
