- Kubikiribōchō (Decapitating Carving Knife): A massive single-edged broadsword originally wielded by Mist Swordsman Zabuza Momochi. While the sword appears ordinary at first glace, if damaged it can absorb iron from the blood drawn by mowing down various enemies, allowing the sword to slowly regenerate by reforming itself.

- Suiton (Water Release): One of the basic elemental nature transformation techniques that allows the user to manipulate pre-existing water, or create their own, by turning their chakra into water. It takes much greater skill to create the water than to manipulate what is already available and expel it via mouth. One of the most versatile of the five basic chakra natures, Water Release techniques can not only change shape but state as well.
- Suika no Jutsu (Hydration Technique): Suigetsu can turn his body into water to greatly reduce the lethality of physical attacks. Large scale blasts or attacks charged with electricity can still cause harm to his body.
- Suiton: Gōsuiwan no Jutsu (Water Release: Great Water Arm Technique): Suigetsu uses Hydration Technique to temporarily enlarge and strengthen one arm, enhancing his physical strength in that arm greatly.
- Water Release: Demon Fish: After merging with a large body of water, Suigetsu forms a giant wave that takes the form of a fish's head with sharp teeth. This technique allowed Suigetsu to survive Killer Bee's Bijuu Dama, although he was severely wounded as a result.
- Water Drowning Technique: With this technique, Suigetsu can form a large blob of water around the head of his target, effectively cutting off their ability to breathe and potentially leading them to drown.
- Mizudeppō no Jutsu (Water Gun Technique): This jutsu takes advantage of the hydration technique. After forming the shape of a gun with his hand, Suigetsu can fire a bullet of compressed water out of his index finger.
- Nichō (Two Guns): A double handed version of the water gun technique. Both hands simultaneously fire water bullets for increased lethality.
