|Kazuma and Ryuho: A hate-hate relationship|
s-Cry-ed is a completed anime series with 26 episodes created by Sunrise.
At 2011 and 2012 a remastered edition with a bit of new footage which was released as 2 movies parts, it was known as s-CRY-ed Alteration Tao and s-CRY-ed Alteration Quan.
s-CRY-ed revolves around the rivalry of Kazuma and Ryuhou, two men blessed (or cursed, it depends on the day) with an acute sense of justice and a stubborn personality. After an ugly first meeting, both decide that they can't stand the other's face and dedicate themselves on finding a new and interesting way to kill each other.
They also take some time off their busy schedule to right wrongs, defeat arrogant assholes and idiots with silly powers, save little girls, and protect their homeland.
In s-CRY-ed, characters have the ability to deconstruct matter at the molecular level and reshape it into unique gear called Alter.
Alters vary in shape and size and each has its own uses, from calling up a super robot to resurrecting the dead.
It's kinda like X-Men meets Jojo's Bizarre Adventure (though not nearly as powerful, but still quite strong)
Standing in the Battledome
In the OBD, the most often used characters are Kazuma and Ryuhou (but there are other strong characters like Straight Cougar and The Crystal).
Near the end of the series, they have massively hypersonic+ speeds and can create explosions the size of the Kanagawa prefecture (and one that can even dwarf a country in their last fight). The verse has little to no hax outside of Kazuma's BFR ability but they make up for it with power.
As a verse, they're easily stronger than Fairy Tail, Part 1 Dragon Ball, RAVE, and Yu Yu Hakusho.
It should be noted that the anime is the original canon but in the manga, Kazuma and Ryuhou are faster, although they are more powerful in the anime.
