Pika has been able to get out of situations that would have otherwise killed other Pokemon by knowing when to make his move or escape.
Notable Attacks/Techniques:

- Electro Ball: Pika's body becomes surrounded by yellow electricity and it forms a ball of yellow electricity above its tail. Pika then swings its tail and fires the ball at the opponent. The faster Pika is than his opponent the more damage Electro Ball does.

- Iron Tail: Pika's entire tail glows with a metallic white and then hits the opponent with a powerful force impact made by energy.

- MegaVolt: Pika's body glows and forms a shield of electricity, Pika then releases the energy of that shield in a massive attack 10 times the power of a Thunderbolt.

- Substitute: Pika creates a clone to fool opponents at the cost of health, this clone fades when it takes a certain amount of damage.

- Toxic: Pika's tail turns toxic and slashes the opponent with the poisoned tail causing them to become badly poisoned.

- Thundershock: Can light up and then release a lighting bolt. ThunderShock was one of Pika's first moves and the visual effect varies, from being a ball of electricity to an electrical wave.

- Thunder: Thunder is one of the most powerful electric attacks. When used, a large bolt of lightning comes from the sky or the user and intercepts the target. Able to easily hit flying targets.

- Quick Attack: A attack that lets Pika move at a very fast speed letting him attack his opponent.

- Volt Tackle: Pika runs at the opponent. Its body then becomes surrounded by golden electricity, and it tackles the opponent. While covered in electricity, Pika's body looks black and white. When hit by recoil damage, its body becomes surrounded by yellow sparks of electricity.
