Background Information
Street Fighter is a series of 2D Fighting games created by Capcom based in a fictional Earth centered mostly around the World Warrior Tournaments, worldwide fighting competitions that are pretty much always hosted by the boss of the game.
The main hero is Ryu, a martial artist who practices the non-lethal version of the deadly martial art Ansatsuken.
It's widely considered to be one the best and most classic fighting video game series.

Standing in the Battledome
As far as fighting verses go, Street Fighter is pretty powerful in its own right.
They have many town level+/city level+ characters with massively hypersonic+ speeds (quad digits) too.
Top tiers like Akuma are island level. Mu no Ken Ryu, Evil Ryu, Gill, Gouken, Gen and Oro are at this level as well.
Notable hax includes M.Bison's mind control, Akuma's and Evil Ryu's soul destroying Raging Demon technique, Necalli's soul consumption, Charlie's energy absorption and F.A.N.G's poison manipulation.
As a verse they are easily stronger than the likes of D.Gray-Man, Katekyo Hitman Reborn and Hunter x Hunter.
