- Ability to manipulate distance: It is literally an ability to manipulate the space between the present location and the destination. She uses this ability to carry out her duty of ferrying the dead across the Sanzu River (although it is unknown whether other shinigami ferrymen also possess this power or not). This ability may be used to affect both literal distance (for example, changing the distance that exists between two points) and apparent distance (for example, making it seem like you never get any closer to (or farther away from) some point).
- Nautical Sign "Flow of the River": Calls forth a little bit of the Sanzu River water and thrashes the opponent with a boat.
- Poor Fate "Short Life expectancy": A fearsome skill that cuts the opponent's life in half.
- Spirit Sign "Abundant Floating Spirits": A shot that spreads ghosts over a wide area.
- Death Song "Ferriage in the Deep Fog": A skill that leads the ghosts to form into a pack. The ghosts following the lead will naturally become damaging danmaku. It's actually an abuse of power.
- Exchange "Unpitiable, Pitiable Life": The unprecedented psyche-switching skill. It's possible to turn crisis into opportunity instantly.
- Malice Sign "Irresolute Bound Spirit": Call upon strong homing demonic spirits. The spirits follow the enemy but do not attack. Komachi then thrusts her scythe into the floor to make them explode.
- Death Sign "Scythe of Final Judgement": Striking the scythe on the ground, shots will fall above the opponents from the sky.
- Hell "Narrow Confines of Avici": Slashes at the enemy and creates a field that prevents horizontal movements at the same time. Komachi can completely control the initiative as long as the effect lasts.
- Soul Sign "Scythe of Wandering Spirits": Unleashes a blade filled with spirits which steal life from the enemy. The spirits fly back to Komachi and allow her to regain health. According to her, she doesn't use this skill too often.
