Background Information
, and is hailed as one of the greatest comics of all time, which considering its short run is quite an achievement.The complex story of Watchmen takes place in an alternate history, where America and Russia edge ever closer to waging nuclear war with one another, the only thing stalling this war is the presence of Dr Manhattan who's the most powerful being on the planet, in an age where heroes have been outlawed. The story then revolves around stopping a plot to kill millions to save the earth from Nuclear fallout.
Standing in the Battledome
The verse is quite powerful but this is only due Dr "I'll atomize you" Manhattan, who possesses Low godly regeneration, teleportation, matter manipulation, and precognition among other broken abilities.There isn't even anyone in his own verse who can kill him with the other characters being street level fighters, only one of which can bullet time.
