Background Information

Demonbane is a series by Nitroplus with mecha and Cthulhu Mythos elements. Beginning as an eroge for the PC, it was ported into the Sony PlayStation 2. It also got an anime which was like only 12 episodes long though (regardless the final episode is canon).

There are four games in the series and the second game was also bundled with a one episode OVA.

Constantly ridiculed for a number of reasons:

Multiversal lolis
The main being a pedo
Intense Raigen effect on Lovecraft's works (it's like Derlethverse but with giant robots punching out cosmic horrors :maybe)
Multiversal surfboards (Demonbane is the most notable example)
Multi clock level destruction
Numerous instances of annoying wanking
A lot of terrible fans (though some of them are good people)
A curious habit certain fans have, where they enter any SMT or Xenogears related thread for the sole purpose of downplaying them; neither YHVH nor Fei's swag is affected one bit, however
It's a fucking eroge (merely the first game, the novels and Kishin Hishou have none of those)

Standing in the Battledome

Honestly, it's a very strong verse, but the actions of a certain wanker put even that into question. Thankfully, someone else took the effort and sorted out the issue.

With the new information it could be confirmed that Demonbane is a megaverse with many broken abilities, cosmics and whatnot. The exact scale of the verse is unknown but if the translated excerpts from Kishin Hishou Demonbane could be believed, there are infinite number of multiverses thus the strongest entities (Azathoth, Yog Sothoth, Elder God Demonbane) have the potential of being megaversal level+.

Demonbane is a contender of being the strongest video game universe but whether it's true or not is better to left unknown as debates concerning this verse and Shin Megami Tensei always lead to unhealthy doses of shitstorm. Be warned!
