Powers and Abilities: Super strength, speed, durability, flight, shapeshifting, teleportation, immortality (types 1 and 3), does not need food, water, or air to survive, scrying via a crystal ball - like device he can summon at will, matter manipulation, energy projection, illusion creation, can grant power to others, regeneration (low-high), apparently immune to all attacks save divine weapons (no limits fallacy), time manipulation, can create evil copies of people, hypnosis, can infect others to turn them evil, weather manipulation, fire breath, necromancy, can shoot laser beams from his eyes, and several others

- Eye Beams: Aku can shoot beams of fiery red energy from his eyes which are capable of causing heat and burning down buildings quickly
- Crystal Ball: Aku can spy on people anywhere on earth or even on other planets via a crystal ball - like sphere he can summon at will
- Shapeshifting: Probably Aku's most frequently used power, he can become any kind of animal (usually a large and exaggerated version with a black and red color scheme and his original face, and it often retains his ability to fire eye beams as well), he can also disguise himself as a human or humanoid being with enough accuracy to fool Jack and others. He can transform different parts of his body into different types of appendages and weapons, as well as changing his size.
- Time Portal: A desperation tactic he used against Jack when he was losing, Aku opened a portal to the future and pushed Jack through.
