- Waterbending: A form a psychic martial arts that is mainly practiced in the Northern and Southern Water Tribes. It features features elegant forms, and fluid movements, with plenty of defensive techniques design to allow the user to freely switch from defense to offense. Waterbenders are alse able to bend water in any of its three stanges, as well as been able to change it from one stage to another giving them great versatility. Some notable Waterbenders are able to bend the blood in a person body giving them full control of their movements, though it normally requires the aid of the full moon.

- Water Whip: Katara extends a tendril of water that can be used to hit or grab opponents.

- Wave Riding: Katara rides a large wave of water, knocking over anyone in her way.

- Water Wave: Katara raise a large wave of water and throws it at an opponent. Large enough to push around battleships.

- Water Stream: Katara hits an opponent with a stream of water. More focused streams can cut through industrial metal.

- Water Blades: Katara raises arcs of water and launches them at an opponent with a slicing effect.

- Stop Water: Katara stops all motion of water within a dome. Used to prepare attacks when it is raining.

- Ice Discs: Katara raises a pillar of ice and launches discs of ice one at a time from it.

- Ice Dome: Katara traps her opponent in a dome of ice.

- Ice Spike Shower: Katara creates a large amount of tiny or large ice spikes and showers an opponent with them.

- Plant Extraction: Katara can extract water from plants if there is no free source around.

- Vapor Condensation: Katara can condense small amounts of water from thin air to attack without a water source.

- Bloodbending: When using the power of the full moon Katara can control the water within an opponent's body, completely controlling their movement.
