Background Information

Command and Conquer: Generals is an RTS game and expansion pack produced by EA Games. A sequel was planned, but canceled after negative feedback from the demo. The series takes place in the near future, with the US and Chinese (or People's Liberation Army) armies fighting a terrorist organization known as the GLA (Global Liberation Army) after a nuclear strike in Beijing that causes the Chinese to take action against the GLA too.

Standing in the Battledome

The Generals verse isn't too powerful a verse, being weaker than both Tiberium and Red Alert, with most of their units being equal or just "slightly" better than their real life counterparts. Speed feats are of course next to non-existent aside from perhaps the Aurora Bomber that flies too fast for anti-air defenses to track. There are many weapon technologies like lasers and tank-scale nuclear reactors that are of course more advanced than our modern world. But in the big scale of things it makes little difference aside from their choice of superweapons. China with its reliance on nuclear technology launches tactical nukes, USA uses advanced particle beams, while the GLA utilized upgraded Scud missiles filled with corrosive biological agents. Overall amongst the Sci-Fi verses, C&C Generals proudly sits somewhere around the bottom.
