Name: Paladin
Origin: Command & Conquer - Generals
Type: Advanced/Prototype Main Battle Tank
In use by: United States of America
Powered by: Gas Turbines (if not something more advanced)
Destructive Capacity: Small building level+ (stronger than Crusader Tanks due to their more advanced projectile)
Performance: 70+ km/h (faster than the M1A1 Abrams), it has an automated system that can shoot down incoming supersonic missiles
Terrain: Ground
Durability: Small building level+ (again, its armor is superior to the Crusader Tanks that have armor already better than the M1 Abrams)
Material: Composite
Needed Prerequisite for Use: Having a license
Operational Timeframe: Unknown, should have the range over 400 km
Weaponry:

  • 120 mm Smoothbore Tank Gun (with its projectiles being further boosted with jet motors)
  • Laser Active Protection System (located atop the turret, can intercept missiles or incinerate bold infantrymen who get close)
  • Drone Hangar, which can house one of the following:
    - Scout Drone (light and unarmed fling drone improving the tank's situational awareness and offering better detection capabilities)
    - Battle Drone (hovering combat drone armed with a minigun and has the capacity to repair the tank when outside combat)
    - Hellfire Drone (new type of flying drone, armed with Hellfire missiles effective against vehicles)
Weapons Range: Dozens to a few hundred meters with its laser, several kilometers with its tank gun
Notable features: Advanced ballistics and fire control (allowing it to fire on the move), computers, high level of automatization and situation-awareness improving sensor arrays allow this tank to be piloted by a single crew member, radar, infrared cameras, integrated data-link with all the allied units on the battlefield, laser-based active protection system
Weaknesses: The laser has a brief cooldown period which prevents it from intercepting multiple consecutive attacks at once (can be off-set with numbers). The system can only automatically target rockets/missiles or other high-heat sources (so it offers no resistance against artillery or tank shells).
Notable Attacks/Techniques:

Other: This tanks seems to be the heavier armored and overall more bulky cousin of the proposed XM1202 Mounted Combat System. The vehicle's namesake should be the M109 Paladin self-propelled artillery.
