F-Zero is a series of futuristic racing video games originally created by Nintendo EAD with multiple games developed by outside companies. The first game was released for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1990 and prompted Nintendo to create multiple sequels on succeeding gaming consoles.
The series has been known for its high-speed racing, unique characters and settings, difficult gameplay, original music, and pushing the limits of its technology to be one of the fastest racing games ever. The first game inspired the creation of games such as Daytona USA and the Wipeout series.
The series is also known for the very popular meme of the Falcon Punch and 99% of the verse is GAR (including the girls).
Standing in the Battledome:
The F-Zeroverse is a very powerful verse, which is due mostly to 2 sources: The F-Zero Falcon Densetsu anime and The Creators who made the universe/multiverse and are likely nigh-omnipotent. Otherwise it has many street level fighters and very advanced technology. Also the series currently has 2 canons:
- The Main one which spans over these games: F-Zero, F-Zero X, F-Zero GX and F-Zero: Maximum Velocity
- The second one which spawns over these games and anime: F-zero GP legend, F-Zero Climax and F-Zero Falcon Densetsu
- Captain Falcon (Super Smash Bros Brawl version)
- The Creators
- Captain Falcon (composite version)
- F-Zero Falcon Densetsu
