Powers and abilities: Reality warping inside the dream world people go to when they sleep (it's not inside the mind), possession, immortality (types 1 and 4), outside of the dream world he showed pyrokinesis
Weaknesses: He can be pulled into the real world if his victim gets a hold of him and wakes up right then, after which Freddy is just an undead that can't go back to the dream world on his own and can be "killed" through conventional means, after which he eventually reappears in the dream world (he's never been permanently incapacitated). This is the only weakness that has been consistent for him through several movies

He's shown shapeshifting, telekinesis, soul absorption to empower himself, creation of infinite loops, access to the memories of dreamers, flight, invisibility, reforming his body from any injury, transmutation of his victims, possessing people to act through their real bodies, materializing stuff and whole landscapes, teleporting himself and others, cancelling the warping of lucid dreamers, etc.
