Background Information

Tekkaman Blade takes place in the year 2300 AD. On a certain moment, the Radam attack earth. A few months after the beginning of the invasion, a Tekkaman appears, he calls himself Blade and with the help of the Space Knights, Blade starts to fight the Radam. But there are a few things that Blade isn't telling about his past. Then generally the whole adventure starts.

Awesome battles and intense action are some of the strong elements that the series has. It's definitely a must watch.

The series itself has 49 episodes and 3 specials (the last which serves as an epilogue to the original and as prologue for the second series) and 6 OVA episodes of Tekkaman Blade II.

Standing in the Battledome

Tekkaman Blade is a powerful verse thanks to country busting attacks (just take a look at this calc), speeds ranging from relativistic to lightspeed, and futuristic technology.

 
As a verse, it is easily above the likes of s-CRY-ed, Yu Yu Hakusho, Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha, and Busou Renkin.
