- Quirk: A special power someone can possess, Quirks can be passed down by parents or can be a combination of both parents' Quirks. They can also run through a family. There are three types of Quirks one can have, known as the Emitter, Transformation, and Mutant types.
- Electrification: Kaminari can expel electricity from his body, up to 1,300,000 watts. If Kaminari exceeds his wattage limit then he will short circuit his brain, leaving him illiterate for a while. Kaminari also doesn't have good control of his Quirk but has since fixed that with various equipment that helps him control it better.
- Indiscriminate Discharge 1,300,000 volts: Denki releases a large amount of electricity to shock everyone around him.
- Hero equipment: Kaminari has various equipment that allows him to help better control his Quirk abilities.
- Pointers: Disc-shaped projectiles that stick to targets. When Denki releases his electricity, it converges to where the released pointer is. The working distance limit is 10 meters.
- Shooter: A device Denki wears on his right forearm that fires the Pointers. It contains a dial that allows Denki to choose the pointer he wants his electricity to be directed towards in case multiple Pointers are set up.
- Optical Visor: A headwear that updates Denki with info about the location of the Pointers.
